It is imperative that you understand the following conditions of having treatment as an aesthetic model. Please read these conditions carefully.
If you have questions not answered here, please call our model coordinator on 0207 096 1088 (option 3).
Waiting Times
As these are training courses, every delegate will train at a different speed.
This means that the waiting times for you as a model can often be longer than that of a clinic appointment. Therefore, you must allocate at least two hours to spend in the Academy for your appointment.
Our staff will do all they can to ensure every model is seen as soon as possible, but if you cannot wait up to 2 hours on the day, you will not be offered the chance to reschedule without paying again. Instead, we will provide your session and associated payment to another person.
Before & After Photos
We will take photos/videos of you as part of your medical record and for promotional purposes.
These photos/videos may appear on our website, in email newsletters, in our printed materials produced for promotional purposes (including leaflets, posters and adverts), and on our social media platforms. They may also be used by third parties (delegates and training partners).
This is a condition of booking as a model, and you must sign a photo release form before your treatment.
We will not include your name, personal email or contact details anywhere. Please note that websites and social media can be seen worldwide, not just in the United Kingdom, where UK law applies.
We may show these photos/ videos to future patients considering cosmetic treatments and delegates as part of their training.
To comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, we need your permission before we take any photos/ videos of you. This form is valid for ten years.
We will not use the photographs/film for other purposes than those mentioned above.
Copyright of photos/ videos taken will remain with the Avanti Aesthetics Academy, and you have no claim to any royalty payments derived from published images.
Cancellations
If you cancel your appointment with two weeks' notice or more, we can reschedule or provide a full refund. However, due to short notice of finding a replacement model, if you cancel your appointment with less than two weeks' notice, you will forfeit any money paid.
Telephone, email and WhatsApp support are offered during regular working hours (Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 6:30 PM).
Even though we run training courses over a weekend, our telephone, email and WhatsApp support lines are closed. If there are exceptional circumstances outside of these hours and you need to contact us, please email [email protected]
Minimising the risk of bruising & swelling
Having any injections on the face can result in swelling and bruising, this is normal after your procedure. This is the way that the body heals and is a normal function. Here are some ways to speed up this process by following the guidelines below before your appointment.
To minimise your chances of severe bruising, you MUST NOT have any of the following on the day of your appointment and where possible, it is best to avoid these 24 hours before and after your appointment as this will help reduce the swelling; alcohol, coffee, tea, green tea, energy drinks and anything containing caffeine.
The week before your appointment, you SHOULD NOT take aspirin, anti-inflammatories (like Ibuprofen or Aleve), fish oil, multivitamins and vitamin E.
Each of these vitamins or medications will thin your blood and can cause bruising post-appointment (paracetamol is OK).
If this advice is not adhered to, there is a risk of severe bruising or swelling, potentially creating lumps and bumps and blue/black discolouration for up to 2 weeks or more.
There is also a possibility that you could be turned away from your appointment if these guidelines are not followed.
Medical History
You must provide accurate and up-to-date information, including your medical history, on the separate medical history form attached to your booking confirmation email.
We will not be held responsible for any incorrect information given. All aesthetic models must declare any medical conditions, allergies and medications being taken.
Models cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding or trying for a baby.
